Memorize Koran , Court orders Saudi drug user

If you have committed a crime & if you are asked by the court to recite the Muslim holy book Koran by heart or face six-months in jail, what shall be your reaction??? A similar sentence has been given by a Saudi court. Court has ordered a drug user to spend six months memorizing the Koran & if he fails to recite the Muslim holy book by heart, he faces a year in prison. Otherwise Saudi man from Jeddah was given a six-month jail term before giving this 'alternative sentence'.

Interestingly, that sentence will be doubled if his Koranic recitation classes fail to make him a 'hafez', someone who knows the Koran by heart. In the Koran , there are more than 77,000 words.

Pillow fight, new trend in China

Pillow fight is a new trend in China nowadays. More than 150 professionals exchanged blows and phone numbers during a mass weekend pillow fight in a downtown bar in Shanghai. The event was organised by local dating Web site www.2bwm.com and also included various dating games that involved pillows.

The crowd, mostly made up of professionals in their 20s and 30s, held no punches as they walloped each other during the 10-minute fight finale. Woman stuck in Bathtub for 4 days

Linz - An 81-year-old retiree was rescued by Austrian firefighters who spent four days stuck in her tub after she got in for a warm bath and couldn't muster enough strength to get out.

Neighbors reported hearing faint knocking inside and authorities said they went to the woman's apartment in Linz, about 200km west of Vienna.

The woman was in surprisingly good condition despite having been immersed in bath water since last Thursday evening, firefighters told public broadcaster ORF.

They said she told her rescuers she lacked the strength to get out of the tub and had knocked and shouted for help.

The woman was taken to a hospital for medical treatment.
